Seahawks: Robinson jailed again

Free agent wide receiver Koren Robinson is in trouble again after Kirkland County Police in Washington accused him of being intoxicated when he reported to jail on Wednesday morning to serve a one-day sentence for a recent DUI conviction. After entering a guilty plea to that charge, Robinson was ordered by a county judge to abstain from using alcohol. Kirkland police confirmed to the Tacoma News Tribune that they are holding Robinson on a $25,000 cash bond. Robinson appeared in court on Thursday and denied the allegation made by two police officers who smelled alcohol on his breath. The troubled receiver, who was released by the Seahawks last month, is scheduled to appear in court again on August 4.

Robinson's most recent arrest carried a 365-day term, with all but one day suspended. In other words, he could be forced to spend a year in jail if the judge opts to throw the book at him. KoRo obviously has some serious issues to resolve before teams will consider offering him a contract.
