sounds ridiculously complicated I am hoping to start an MBA with a concentration on statistical analysis in the fall And you think forensic psychology sounds complicated? Actually it is a very interesting field, studying serial killers!! Actually that isn't what I am going to do with the degree, but it is one of the things you can do with forensic psychology. If you can go back for your MBA I highly suggest you do, I think this is one going back to school has been one of the best moves I made.

I can, and I will, esp. since my employer will pay for it.

I can, and I will, esp. since my employer will pay for it. Yeah, that is a little easier than the quit the jobs, sell the house and move to a really expensive area with no income scenario.....

Yeah, that is what we did. My husband and I both left our jobs, sold our house and moved so that I could start grad school.

I did that back in the late 80's when my ex wife and i left it all behind and moved out to LA with just what we had on our backs. Needless to say, it didnt last long and we had to return. We shoulda went to a place that was less expensive............

A less expensive place would have been good for us too, but unfortunately the school I choose didn't give us that choice. But so far it is turning out alright.....

Yes, the Virginia's arent that bad. In fact, land is relatively cheap down there, or so i hear. Not sure what housing costs or how it is compared to up this way. My house is worth $166,000.00 and its a 3 BR 1 car garage ranch on 3/4 of an acre.

Must be a different part of Virginia you are hearing about......
We are right outside of DC. For a 1 bedroom condo in this area is around $200,000. To give you an idea, we are now renting a 2 bedroom apartment for what our mortage was on a 3 bedroom, 1 car garage, finished walkout basement (including wet bar) with a double level deck on 3/4 of an acre.

I think "land" wise out in the boonies is where i saw land cheap. In fact, i thought of buying some and building a cabin or something there. The price, as i recall, was around $1,000 per acre. I am sure it was nowhere near any cities and i think it was also in WV.
