Chad Lewis: Continues to Rehab Foot RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com Tuesday, July 12, 2005 Update: Six teams, including the Eagles, have called Lewis (foot/ankle) to let him know they would be interested in his services if and when he gets healthy, the Eagles official website reports.
Recommendation: "I rehab my foot every day. I will not be ready for the beginning of training camp, unless things go better than expected. I'm already ahead of schedule, but to be ready for the beginning of training camp would be double-ahead of schedule," said Lewis. Talking to the surgeons and the trainers, some people, try as they might, never recover from a Lisfranc injury. He could be added to a team's roster after the first couple games of the season but would have little fantasy value at this point in his career.

IMO, i think they will and should keep Chad Lewis. As long as he dont give them any cap issues regarding the salary cap i believe he will be back again. I dont think the Eagles have another option at TE. Other then their long snapper, who for some reason or other, is slipping my mind. LOL
