Update: McCants worked out for the Eagles Wednesday and the team is debating whether to offer him a contract, the Courier Post Online reports.
Recommendation: McCants played the last three seasons for the Redskins, who released him Monday. The Eagles are looking for a veteran receiver after losing Todd Pinkston for the season with a torn Achilles tendon. If the Eagles sign him, he would likely battle with Billy McMullen for the fourth wide receiver position.
