for 4 games and then for the remainder of the season. Andy Reid had his press conference at 3pm on Monday November 7th and read from a prepared statement. Also, he did not answer any questions concerning the situation. TO will never wear the Eagles green again. Its about time, he was way past getting on my nerves.............

T.O.'S SEASON DONE WITH EAGLES
November 7, 2005 By CHRIS McPHERSON (from philadelphiaeagles.com)
Head coach Andy Reid announced Monday afternoon in a statement that wide receiver Terrell Owens has been suspended four games for conduct detrimental to the team and will not return even after that suspension is over. Reid's statement was: "Terrell Owens has been suspended by the team for four games for conduct detrimental to the team.
"He will not return to play for the team even after the conclusion of that suspension. The league has been notified by the player's union that they will be grieving a right to take that action.
"Therefore, there is nothing more I can say at this point."
Owens was suspended by the team for Sunday night's game against Washington after he lashed out at Eagles management and quarterback Donovan McNabb during an interview with ESPN last week.
Reid made it clear that the suspension was not solely based on last week's actions.
"This decision is a result of a large number of situations that have accumuated over a long period of time in which Terrell had been warned repeatedly about the consequences of his actions. Even with the activities that took place last week, we gave Terrell every opportunity to avoid this outcome."
Reid added that he is working with Vice President of Player Personnel Tom Heckert on potentially signing another wide receiver.
Owens had 47 receptions for 763 yards and six touchdown receptions this season. Greg Lewis will take over as the No. 1 receiver and Reggie Brown will be the other starting wide receiver.
