Westbrook to miss rest season with foot injury By ROB MAADDI, AP Sports Writer December 6, 2005 PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Pro Bowl running back Brian Westbrook will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury, the fourth Pro Bowl player the Philadelphia Eagles have lost for the season in the last month.
Westbrook injured his foot in the first half of Monday night's 42-0 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. An MRI MRI exam Tuesday confirmed Westbrook has a Lis Franc injury.
Westbrook, who recently signed a five-year extension worth almost $25 million, had nine carries for 17 yards in the loss to Seattle.
On the season, Westbrook had 156 carries for 617 yards and three touchdowns, along with 61 catches for 616 yards and four touchdowns.
Other Pro Bowl players lost for the season include quarterback Donovan McNabb, wide receiver Terrell Owens, cornerback Lito Sheppard and left tackle Tra Thomas.

Wow, that sucks. Now there are 0 playmakers on offense. The real question every week here on out will now be, "Will the offense accumulate more than 100 yards of offense?" A top 10 draft pick is looking very promising.

At this point and if i were Andy Reid i would just bench the majority of the starters and let the young players finish it out. Playoffs are gone and theres no sense in risking any injury to the starters.
