McMAHON WILL START SUNDAY

Mike McMahon will remain the man. Head coach Andy Reid announced that McMahon will start this Sunday when the Eagles host the New York Giants at his Wednesday press conference.
"I'm going to go with Mike McMahon. I like Mike's mobility," Reid said.
McMahon started the last three games and has a 1-2 record in those games. On Monday night, McMahon was 4-for-10 with 61 yards and a pair of interceptions.
Both of those interceptions were returned for a touchdown.
Despite the performance against Seattle, McMahon had performed well in the second half of the first meeting against the Giants. Reid said that factored into his decision.
In the second half of that Giants game, McMahon completed 13-of-24 passes, tossed a touchdown pass to Reggie Brown and dove over a pile for a touchdown to draw the Eagles close midway through the fourth quarter. The Eagles' rally fell short and they lost 27-17.
Koy Detmer, the Eagles' other quarterback, came in relief of McMahon on Monday night but did not fare much better. He was 13-for-29 for 84 yards and a pair of interceptions of his own. Combined, the two were 17-for-39 with 145 passing yards and four interceptions and a 14.3 quarterback rating.
Reid said that he put in Detmer to try and help rally the team on Monday night, but it did not help.
"Things weren't going in a good direction," said Reid. "Sometimes change might spark things."
This season McMahon is 37-of-83 for 486 yards with one touchdown rushing and one throwing, three interceptions and a passer rating of 52.6.
