Yesterday's game v. the Rams magnified the fact that Dawkins' ability is slowly decreasing.. He got burned for a TD; and although he did notch one of the easier picks in his career, could have had several other picks against the very poor Rams Hahvahd grad who tries to play QB.
I'm not ready to say that the Eagles should get him off the field, but it won't be long. His intensity, locker room presence, and toughness will not be easily replaced so hopefully he will remain on the Eagls roster for a couple of years based on those merits.

I would limit his play a bit to playing the rush. He cant seem to play the pass anymore, if at all.....

if they had a better pass rush they would not be gettin burned like they are. we need another DE opposite of Cole and keep Kearse for 3rd downs and stuff.

Kearse gets paid way too much to play a secondary role.

Kearse gets paid way too much to play a secondary role. Kearse is way overpaid and i hope they ask him to take a paycut next season. Runyan, who took one last season is expected to have to take another next. Atleast Runyan performs, Kearse doesnt.

I think you would see a lot more production out of Kearse if the rest of the D-line, particularly the DTs, would get their act together.

yea, at this point the whole defense is a mess. I would say that if i had to pat anyone on the back it would have to be Sheldon Brown. He has had the best season out of the whole #1 unit but it wasnt oggd enough to make the probowl. Not that i care anyways. The Probowl is a joke. Why the hell would any fan wanna watch their players in the ProBowl when they cant even win a superbowl.

Well players who are having good seasons on bad teams just don't get the recognition they deserve. A player playing well on a winning team has his ability magnified by the team's winning and prominence.

i have to agree with that. 2 good examples of that would be the Cardinals WR's Boldin and Fitzgerald. I hadnt heard that much about them this year and they are both good receivers.
