If you had to pick 1 NFC east team to make the playoffs and maybe even go further into them, who would you pick?

My vote goes to the Giants. I think overall they have a better team than the Cowboys. Unfortunately, we are mostly out of it.

I think the Cowboys could win 1 playoff game in the 1st round, but I don't see them going any farther than that.

well the Cowboys have a good young defense and if they can get Julious Jones going they will have a chance at making the playoffs as well as maybe the 2nd round. I think we would all agree that at this point the Panthers are the odds on favorite to represent the NFC in Detroit. I just wonder if they are doing it steroid free this year?

I think we would all agree that at this point the Panthers are the odds on favorite to represent the NFC in Detroit. I'm not sure that I agree with that assessment... since teams started locking down on Steve Smith, the Panthers have struggled as no one else seems capable of making plays on offense. The NFC champ could either be Seattle, Chicago, Carolina or even Atlanta. Tomorrow's game between Carolina and Atlanta will be huge.

Atlanta doesnt have a QB and they arent good enough, and the Bears have an average offense but a D that scores points on a regular basis. but are a young team. .

there is no clear cut champion in my mind amongst those teams
there is no team that is head and shoulders above the rest like the Eagles of last year or the Colts of this year

I am wondering if they are gonna go 16-0? Its hard to do cause they will be clinching a playoff berth soon and then they can start playing their backups. Thats when , if they're gonna lose, it'll happen. Then theres Corey Simon. I am not sure if i want him to go to the SuperBowl and win it with another team. LOL, call it spiteful but it does bother me. His bellyaching during training camp about his contract was very annoying. he always found a reason to get out of some or most of camp. I think the Colts have the best situation to go all the way with the Patriots down and out.

The Colts will be playing every playoff game in the dome and will be very difficult to beat. I don't care if Simon wins the Super Bowl. He hasn't contributed much to their success. The Eagles FO didn't handle that situation all that well anyway. If they wanted to get rid of him, they should have tried to get some compensation.

OK, I change my mind. The Cowboys simply do not know what to do when a defense plays in-your-face football. And they can't expect the opposing QB to throw the dumbest INT of his life at the end of every game either. Drew Bledsoe's propensity to hang onto the ball too long is only magnified when the Cowboys' O is struggling. The Giants will probably win the division (sickening as that is).

LOL, what made ya change your mind? IMO, i think Bledsoe is their weakness. He's an average starter, but he wont lead them to the SuperBowl. Heck, it took rookie Tom Brady to do it when they were in New England, and win it nontheless. Dallas's strength is their young defense. The keyword being young. On offense, i dont think they know what they are doing. If they can make a few tweaks here and there they could have a superbowl conteneder, but they dont have a chance as they are now.

Darn it, if we had just beaten the stinkin Cowgirls once, the chance of making the playoffs wouldn't be so distant.

Darn it, if we had just beaten the stinkin Cowgirls once, the chance of making the playoffs wouldn't be so distant. Exactly, technically had we won just one divisional game we would mathematecally be in it. But no division wins screws us. Had we split with the Giants, Cowboys and Skins there would probably be a 3 way tie or we'd all be within a game of one another. With the way things are now theres just no excitement whatsoever. The season is over and i am in shutdown mode. Heres to a good draft and a fresh start in 2006........

I am currently in the mode of hoping for a mid-air collision of all 3 team planes for the Cowgirls, Giants, and Skins - lol.

It might be the only way we get to win a championship.
