TRAINING CAMP DATES ANNOUNCED!
May 5, 2005 By DAVE SPADARO
Training camp is right around the corner, and now is the time to plan your trip to Lehigh University. While the exact practice times and schedules are to be determined, the Eagles announced on Thursday that Training Camp, 2005 will open for rookies and selected veterans on Friday, July 29 with a meeting scheduled for that evening. As they have done in the past, the Eagles will have practices for only the rookies and selected veterans for three days, starting on Saturday, July 30 and continuing through Monday, Aug. 1.
All of those practices are open to the public and are free of charge. The practices take place at the Goodman Campus at Lehigh University.
The entire team is to report to Lehigh University on Monday, August 1 for an evening meeting and then will hold a public practice in the afternoon of Tuesday, Aug. 2. From that point forward, all of the practices will be open to the public.
The morning workout on Aug. 2 will be, as it has in the past, a closed practice.
The team will then practice until August 14, when camp breaks and the team leaves for its preseason game at Pittsburgh.
Practices open to the public will actually end on Saturday, August 13. The practice on August 14 is a walk-through and is closed to the public.
We'll have exact dates and times of every practice on PhiladelphiaEagles.com as camp draws near.
