Reggie. Brown: Impresses Eagles RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com Sunday, May 1, 2005
Update: With Terrell Owens holding out of the team's mandatory minicamp and Freddie Mitchell's pending release, Brown is making the most of the opportunity and impressing the team with his skills, the Associated Press reports.
Recommendation: The rookie is spending a lot of time learning the complex Philadelphia playbook and drew praise from offensive coordinator Brad Childress, who is optimistic that Brown can work himself into the regular season rotation. ``That's the goal,'' Childress said. ``He's certainly shown an aptitude and the ability to be able to hold his own. It's just a matter of how he continues to grow. After 60-70 practices, we'll know a lot more.'' Brown's overall value is higher for keeper and dynasty leagues as rookie wide receivers often struggle their first season in the complex West Coast Offense. Still, he could have an impact in 2005 given the uncertainty surrounding Owens.
